Best Airport : The Skytrax World Airport Awards are voted for by air travelers in the largest, annual global airport customer satisfaction survey. The survey is operated as an independent study, with no entry fees or charges to any airport, and the Awards ceremony is also provided to winning airports at no cost. And following are awarded as the best airports for their best of the features.
1. SINGAPORE CHANGI AIRPORT
In 2017, Changi Airport celebrated a key milestone, serving 60 million passengers from close to 100 countries around the world. And another great feature is Transit Hall, is the Sunflower garden. The garden features several varieties of sunflowers grown in Changi Airport’s very own nursery. For the 2017 entire year figures distributed by the airplane terminal, the air terminal took care of 62,219,573 passenger (a 6.0% expansion over the earlier year), the most in its 36-year history.
2. INCHEON INT’L AIRPORT
It is the largest airport in South Korea. Incheon International Airport was named winner of the World’s Best Airport Staff award in 2018. Staff should have polite and friendly talking skills. Also good staff helps in managing and efficient working at the airport.
3. TOKYO INT’L AIRPORT HANEDA
Haneda Airport was voted the World’s Cleanest Airport and the World Best Domestic Airport in 2018. Cleanliness leads to good atmosphere for both working staff and passengers travelling. If airports lack cleanliness no passengers will get attracted and will travel less.
4. HONG KONG INT’L AIRPORT
Hong Kong International Airport was voted the World’s Best Transit Airport and also the Best Airport for Dining. Better dining areas and the quality of food provided by the airport helps passenger enjoy their travel as they are required to wait for long hours at the airport.
5. HAMAD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT DOHA
The existing terminal at Doha can accommodate up to 30 million passengers annually, and has been described as the most architecturally significant terminal complex in the world, as well as being the most luxurious.
