India is Fastest-Growing Aviation Market and inducement Boom in Private Charter Jet Startups. In upcoming 10 to 15 years the Indian aviation market will be the world’s largest domestic civil aviation market said by Mr jayant Sinha , (Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation)Domestic air passenger’s traffic grew during the month of April by 15.15 per cent with Indian carriers carrying 9.1 million, shows passenger data shared by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).The growth during first four months in 2016 and 2017 is about the latitude of 17.7 percent. India will override the UK for the third place in 2025.

About Market Size

Size of the industry – There are about 449 airports in India out of which 126 airports are civil enclave. Geographical distribution – Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai. Air traffic in India arise 15.80 percent year by year to 280.24 million during April-February 2017-18. Endorsing a growth of 18.50 percent over the antecedent year, total passenger traffic prevails at a 264.97 million in FY17 (Fiscal Year).

New Airports

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has arranged capital consumption of the request of Rs 65,000 crore for airport infrastructure. Of this, about Rs 17,500 crore will be used throughout the following five years. About Rs 22,000 crore has been designated for brownfield extension in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru by private administrators and around Rs 21,000 crore for Greenfield airports. The aim is to enhance and create airport infrastructure to bear growing traffic demands. AAI (Airport Authority of India) wants to develop new incorporated passenger terminal building in Lucknow at an expected cost of Rs. 1,230 crore. The new terminal will have the capacity to deal with 4000 passengers during peak hour and 6.35 million passengers per annum.
